One of the oldest living history museums in the country, the
museum takes visitors back to an era when agriculture governed
the economy and culture. Artisans carry on the crafts and trades
of 150 years ago, while the musuem’s working farm moves
day to day, season to season.
At the village, explore our 19th-century village and farmstead,
interact with master artisans of the mid-1800s, visit our
working farmstead with rare breeds of farm animals, and tour
our heritage gardens.
